1: number of the new quest bars i ordered in my latest stock up on my fave bars. i didn't love it, which isn't that surprising given that i don't really like white chocolate that much. i liked the raspberry but decided i'd way rather have raspberry with dark chocolate instead. won't be adding it to my next box of mixed bars.
5: number of hours i spent proctoring an SAT practice test on saturday. i wasn't even mad, i enjoyed myself thoroughly and i got all of my lesson planning done. on top of it i got some reading done. i'm loving reading so much lately so it was totally a pleasant way to spend my morning. far more pleasant than actually taking the SAT, i'm sure.
10: pounds of frozen fruit i bought this weekend for making smoothies. as you all might recall i am on a smoothie kick. this blend held SO much promise but it's sorely lacking on the banana slices. it's still awesome but i had my hopes really high that this blend would change my life and it hasn't. target does HOWEVER sell a triple berry blend that doesn't include strawberries which has to be the best thing on earth. i love strawberries when they're fresh but i hate them in smoothies and so this was a total coup for me when i spotted it.
2: boxes of kashi shannon sent me as a thank you. here's the thing, y'all - do nice things and it pays you back tenfold. shannon tweeted that she'd forgotten her clothes in her hotel in houston and i saw the tweet. since the hotel was close to my i ran by and picked them up and then mailed them to her. it wasn't hard, it wasn't out of my way, but i know i would be so grateful if someone did the same for me and shannon was so awesome and sent me some of my favorite cereal and a new kashi to try as a thank you. i can't get over how much blogging has connected me with others and this really is just the perfect example of why i love social media/blogging.
a billion: number of mints i consume per day. i'm eating altoids like it's 1997. remember when altoids were like ALL THE RAGE? no, you don't? i do. and i'm bringing them back. i bought these randomly at target (like all things at target) and now i keep them in my desk and eat them all day long.
0: number of seconds i spent deciding which of these two options were going to be my morning snack yesterday. the choice is clear. i thought the waffle cookies were going to be amazing (and they were okay) but the chocolate chip cookies really hit the spot. perfect morning pick me up.
i hope your tuesday is going well! i'm looking forward to this weekend so much so my week is dragging a bit. here's hoping the rest of these days fly by!
